Our Impact

Since its establishment in 2024, UAGO has made significant strides in empowering avocado farmers across the Usambara Highlands. Through a growing network of 180+ active members, the identification of 1,215+ farmers, and the distribution of 26,000+ improved avocado seedlings, the organization is enhancing agricultural productivity, promoting sustainable farming practices, and creating economic opportunities for smallholder farmers, women, and youth while contributing to the growth of Tanzania’s avocado value chain.
